The Berliner was traveling west with his 31-year-old passenger in his Hyundai on State Road 2071 and wanted to turn left onto the federal motorway towards Munich.
Vehicles collide head-on - airbags are triggered
He overlooked an oncoming Mercedes belonging to a 75-year-old from the southern Munich district.
The two vehicles collided almost head-on.
All three people involved were uninjured because the airbags on the vehicles were deployed.
The damage was nevertheless great.
The police had to close the state road for 45 minutes, the property damage to the cars amounts to 35,000 euros.
