It is understood that the government stated in the letter that the oath must comply with the NPC’s interpretation of Article 104 of the Basic Law and other legal requirements, uphold the Basic Law and allegiance to the SAR.

In response to different district board members who have made words and deeds deemed to be contrary to the requirements during their past tenures, the authorities listed different questions and asked to explain how to uphold the Basic Law and allegiance to the SAR. The reply is limited to 5 pm next Monday (27th).

This includes organizing/planning/implementing/participating in the implementation of the "35+ primaries", aiming to veto the government's bill without discrimination and force the government to accept the request.
