Damascus-SANA
The organizing committee of the monthly “Made in Syria” shopping festival announced the extension of the current 123rd session, which is being held on the grounds of the old fairgrounds in Damascus, until Thursday, September 30th.
The head of the festival's organizing committee, Talal Qalaji, said in a statement to a representative of SANA that the extension of the festival came as a result of the high turnout of citizens with the approaching end of the days of this session and to give them the opportunity to obtain discounts and offers offered by companies participating in the festival, which amount to 40%.
Qala Ji stated that the festival activities will stop receiving visitors only on Saturday, September 25, as the celebration of the Individual Games Sports Festival, which is held by the General Sports Federation, will be held, and the festival activities will be resumed until next Thursday.
The activities of the festival, organized by the Damascus Governorate and Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside, were launched on August 25, with the participation of about 200 companies from all sectors.
