The Ministry of Health announced that the occupancy rate in the departments designated for Corona patients in Damascus and its countryside and Lattakia hospitals has reached 100 percent.
In a bulletin on the epidemiological situation, which SANA obtained a copy of, the ministry indicated that the occupancy rate in the departments designated for Corona patients in Damascus and its countryside hospitals is 100 percent, noting that three “Covid 19” cases in need of a care bed have been transferred from Damascus hospitals to Homs hospitals so far.
The ministry stated that the occupancy of the departments designated for Corona cases in Lattakia hospitals has become 100 percent, and that preparations have been made to transfer cases to Tartous, in coordination with the emergency room.
The Ministry of Health reiterated the necessity of full adherence to the precautionary measures, especially wearing masks, washing hands, spacing, and receiving the vaccine that prevents severe infection and the need to enter hospitals, which is safe, tested globally, approved locally, and completely free in Syria.
The Ministry pointed out that the vaccination campaign against the Corona virus continues through registration on the designated platform and waiting for the message to determine the time and place, considering that the decision to take the vaccine is also a societal responsibility.
