Falcao is reborn and Koeman on the tightrope in LaLiga 1:49
(CNN) -
Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has come under increased pressure after being sent off in his team's 0-0 draw against Cádiz on Thursday.
The 58-year-old was furious in the last seconds of the game after arguing with the referee and the assistants.
At the start of the match, Koeman was angered when midfielder Frenkie de Jong received a red card and spirits remained heated until he was sent off in the final stretch.
The news comes amid criticism of Barça's form this season, as Koeman's young team has failed to curdle after Lionel Messi's departure.
The Catalan giant has only won twice in their first five league games, is seventh in the league table and was beaten in their own stadium by Bayern Munich in the Champions League (3-0).

Koeman's future has been questioned and his relationship with club president Joan Laporta has grown strained in recent weeks.
"It is not always about a result. You have to analyze what the team did, the attitude of the team, the commitment of the team and I cannot complain about anything about this match," Koeman told reporters after the match.
Is there life after Messi?
This is how Barcelona did in their first La Liga game without the Argentine star
"I am not happy, of course, because we have had four or five clear chances and we have not scored any goals. What I take away is the attitude, not my personal situation. Because if we win, it seems that we continue, and if not, we look for another coach ... and that's a question for you, "he added.
A troubled start to the season
Barcelona is already seven points behind their rival, Real Madrid, in the league and looks like a shadow of the team that dominated European football for years.
However, the financial situation of the club has forced it to part with some of its main stars, especially Messi, who left for Paris Saint-Germain when Barcelona could not afford his salary.

Since then, the focus has been on bringing young talents into the first team, but inexperience on the field has become a problem in recent weeks.
Ronald Koeman also lamented his team's injury problems, which prevented several veteran players from being present against the humble Cádiz.
"You have to be realistic, look at the squad we have and the missing players," he said.
"We have seven headlines out," he concluded.
