Teacher against Green pass risks suspension, I will not stop

(ANSA) - ORVIETO (TERNI), 24 SEPTEMBER - Without the Green pass because he was not vaccinated, he decided to also stop the tampons he regularly underwent since September 1st to enter school, thus risking, from next Tuesday, the suspension from work and salary: this is the story of Gianfranco Pigozzi, art teacher at the Signorelli secondary school in Orvieto, who this morning decided to make his protest public by putting up a sign outside the institute.

    "The green pass is shameful and criminal because it is provocatively dishonest towards citizens, violently damaging constitutional rights, useless for the prevention of contagion", reads the beginning of the cartel. In which one speaks, again with regard to the Green pass, of "a brutal act of blackmail and political submission". "As a free citizen I feel discriminated against, because I am not evading any legal obligation but I am making a free choice" he explains to ANSA. "I am not a 'no vax' and I made my daughters do all the mandatory vaccines - he adds -, but I am very perplexed about the usefulness and effectiveness of this new treatment that cannot be called a vaccine, as it does not correspond to the its historical definition. In my culture there is science,but in this health emergency I see that this is left in the hands of technocrats and businessmen. I do not see a political power that places public health and the cohesion of society as a priority ".

    After spending around 180 euros so far to undergo swabs, Professor Pigozzi is now determined to go all the way. "I will not stop - he explains - until the debate is brought back into a situation of confrontation and in a climate of trust. I will be suspended, with enormous displeasure for my students. But I hope at least to teach them not to bow their heads in the face. to injustices ".
