Haitian encampment removed under bridge in Texas 3:59

After several days of living in miserable conditions under the Del Rio International Bridge in Texas, the last remaining migrants left their makeshift camp just before noon (local time) on Friday.
A CNN crew captured images under the bridge of the last two buses as they departed for processing centers at the US Customs and Border Protection Office.

The chief of the US Border Patrol, Raúl Ortiz, had said that a wave of migrants, many of them Haitians, had concentrated in a camp under the bridge, as a result of social media posts and word of mouth that said that the border at Del Rio was open.

The chaotic scenes on the bridge, which included law enforcement on horseback using aggressive tactics against migrants, drew the ire of local and federal officials.

Early on Friday morning, Bruno Lozano, the mayor of Del Rio, had told CNN that only 144 migrants remained awaiting processing by US immigration authorities.
