And in Maisach you can harvest apples yourself.

Kristina Frank, plant manager at Stadtgüter München, had to laugh heartily when the little pigs literally found her to bite into at the presentation of the join-in stable in Riem.
“Children learn a lot about animals in books, but they can't smell or feel anything.
Here they learn by taking part: mucking out, tackling, taking responsibility! ”Said Frank enthusiastically about the new project.
There are pigs, cows, sheep and donkeys here.
Mayor Verena Dietl was also enthusiastic: “It is important that we show Munich where food comes from and how species-appropriate husbandry works.
We want to make that clear here and invite children and young people to do so, ”she enthused at the opening.
Kindergartens, school classes and private groups can now book tours with a farm experience.
By the way: The sixth grade of the Willy Brandt Comprehensive School should be the starting point.
And of course, the children were very enthusiastic about the animals.

Harvest apples yourself
The apple harvest started on Friday at the Wolf family's plantation.
From now on you can pick your own fruit on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Schwarzhuber's Adventure Land is actually closed until Easter.
