The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the International Criminal Court to expedite the opening of an investigation into the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy sites.
The ministry confirmed in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the silence of the international community on the crimes and violations of the occupation against the Palestinians, and contentment with some formal statements of condemnation, encourages it and its settlers to commit more crimes. The Ministry condemned the systematic killings committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, the most recent of which was the martyrdom of the Palestinian youth, Muhammad Ali Khabisa, by the Israeli occupation forces during their suppression of an anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.
