Poing - How does voting work? This question was answered in detail for the 8th to 10th grade students at the Anni Pickert Middle School in Poing (we reported). First they discussed the modalities of the upcoming federal election in class, then they were able to put what they had learned into practice right away. In cooperation with the Poingen youth department, Respekt @ Poing carried out a U18 election in the youth center.
Everything should be as possible as in the elections next Sunday: There were four voting booths, a ballot box and the ballot papers were modeled on the original ballot papers for the electoral district 213 Erding-Ebersberg, but reduced to A4 format.
Respekt @ Poing provided four election workers who handed out the ballot papers and made sure that everything went according to the rules and that no one cast their vote twice.
And in the end, of course, they also counted the votes.
A total of 145 young people under the age of 18 cast their votes.

First votes
: Andreas Lenz (CSU) 36.6%, Magdalena Wagner (SPD) 21.1%, Marc Salih (FDP) 17.6%, Peter Junker (AfD) 9.1%, Christoph Lochmüller (Greens) 6.3%, Tobias Boegelein (Left) 3.5%, Charlotte Schmid (ÖDP) 2.15, Birgit Obermaier (Free Voters) and Simone Binder (Bavaria Party) both 1.4%, Alexandra Motschmann (the base ) 0.7%.
Second votes
: CSU 31.5%, SPD 18.2%, FDP 13.3%, AfD 10.5%, Greens 7.7%, Animal Welfare Party 5.6%, Left 3.5%, Free Voters and NPD 2 , 1%, the party 1.4%, ÖDP, pirates, DKP, the base, you., Volt 0.7% each.
