A 19-year-old student was stabbed several times during a fight with a classmate on Thursday afternoon. The suspect is on the run.

The assault took place outside but the victim managed to take refuge inside the Jean-Macé high school.

In Vitry-sur-Seine, this Thursday, an altercation between two students violently degenerated.

A 19-year-old young man was seriously injured by stab wounds on the outskirts of the establishment.

Seriously injured in particular in the back, he was evacuated under police escort to the Georges Pompidou hospital in Paris.

Around 4:30 p.m., when most of the students left, the tone quickly rose between two students from the Second Chance School, a structure that is part of the high school.

A stone's throw from the entrance to the establishment, in the middle of a group of other people, the two men obviously want to settle a dispute.

They then decide to move away, perhaps to try to calm the reasons for this conflict, without knowing the reasons at this stage of the investigation.

The injured victim takes refuge in the establishment

Only, the situation escalates completely and the oldest, 22 years old, would have pulled out a knife.

A few minutes later, the bloodied victim retraces his steps and manages to take refuge in the school.

She was taken care of before the emergency services arrived, and explained that she had received several stab wounds.

Immediately, the police from the station converge on the school and start looking for the suspect in the vicinity.

In vain.

The suspect was still at large on Friday.

An investigation, entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police of Val-de-Marne, was opened for attempted homicide.
