A Russian cargo ship collided with a Turkish one in the Bosphorus Strait, without causing any injuries to the crew of the two ships.

Sputnik quoted the General Directorate of Coastal Safety of the Turkish regime as saying in a statement today: "The Russian cargo ship "Rosich 10" collided with a Turkish one in the Bosphorus Strait and then collided with a Turkish fishing boat, where a rescue team was sent to the area."

The Directorate indicated that the Russian ship docked safely, explaining that according to the initial data, the cause of the collision was due to a defect in the control of the Turkish ship, and investigations are being conducted to clarify the details.

For its part, the insurance company confirmed the existence of minor damage to the Russian ship, while no water flow was found, no injuries and no fuel leakage were recorded.
