In Feldkirchen, not only a retirement home is to be built, but also a senior citizens' residential complex with condominiums on Dornacher Strasse.
The local council was supposed to be discussing this project in July.
This is the second time that the subject has been removed from the agenda.
Feldkirchen
- At the end of July, Mayor Andreas Janson (UWV) had the application of a company put on the agenda at short notice that wants to build high-quality condominiums for senior citizens on Dornacher Strasse.
The SPD and CSU were annoyed by the mayor's short-term measure because they could not prepare for the discussion point.
"The mayor had previously reassured himself with the municipal supervisory authority, he was allowed to do this because of urgency," said branch manager Heinz-Josef Reiser.
Local authority recommends bringing the item back on the agenda
When the discussion about the senior citizens' home was stalled by a "motion for rules of procedure" by UWV councilor Michael Schön, the angry parliamentary groups of CSU and SPD left the meeting room.
At that time, Schön called for an “immediate vote without discussion, because we discussed it often and long enough”. The remaining UWV voted 11-0 with the Greens for the development plan.
The SPD and CSU informed the local authorities about these incidents.
This advised the municipal administration to put the item on the agenda again, because, according to Reiser, they had failed to grant each parliamentary group the right to speak, even after Schön's request.
The decision taken should therefore be called into question.
Because the mayor is not there, the subject is postponed
Now the topic was once again on the agenda, verbatim.
But in addition to three CSU councilors, Mayor Andreas Janson was also missing from the meeting.
Instead of the debate that was eagerly awaited by over 30 citizens in the auditorium, Stefan Seiffert (CSU) immediately demanded that the topic be removed from the agenda.
“That is a very critical point that we should discuss in detail.
So far we haven't had the time and the mayor, who is fully involved in the whole matter, isn't there either, ”was Seiffert's explanation.
Against the vote of chairman Thomas Zimmermann (UWV), the item was removed from the agenda.
