A remarkable experience of drawing in a different way away from any traditional art school offered by the young Yazan Rizk from As-Suwayda Governorate, which reflects his capabilities and his quest to embody his works in the language of his open thought and his lived reality.

According to Yazan, 27 years old, any tangible material that is movable and has a sense and a spirit that attracts him to drawing and forms it in an artistic way and leaves his mark in it, indicating that he paints on car dust, coffee, clothes and natural materials such as dirt, herbs, stones, pebbles, wood, mate and others.

Yazan’s approach to this method came out of the idea of leaving the idea of pen and paper or feather and colors and drawing freely without restriction and making something remarkable out of nothing, as he mentioned during his interview with SANA reporter.

There is no limited place for painting at Yazan. He paints on the floor, in the arms of nature, or within a room. He shows that the works painted in this style are not sustainable, but he aspires in the future to keep them using a technique that enables him to participate in exhibitions and communicate his art to the largest number of people and leave a positive impact on them.

Yazan has many topics that he presents in his works, some of which simulate reality, the impact of the war on Syria and the life difficulties it left behind, especially the economic ones, in addition to dealing with influential figures in society and celebrities.

Yazan considers that in this way, despite its simplicity and speed of completion, it achieved good and unexpected results, revealing his ambitions to achieve record numbers of business in terms of volume and materials used.

Yazan, who showed his talent for drawing since his childhood and won a competition for youth at the governorate level in the secondary stage, shows his keenness during the coming period to complete his studies at the College of Fine Arts with the specialization of engraving after his hiatus in the last period.

Yazan sends a message to talented people not to let life's obstacles and difficulties stand in the way of their creativity and success, to work with what is available, preserve their talents, and discover new things that will move them to the better.

long life
