The global company Google announced that it will cut off its services completely from millions of smartphones that run outdated operating systems next Monday.
The company explained that the affected devices included the “Android 2.3” operating systems that were released years ago, and these devices will lose the benefits of “Google” unless they are updated or replaced, pointing out that the services that will be cut are “Google Search Engine”, “Google Maps” and “YouTube” Gmail, Google Play Store, and Google Calendar.
The company indicated that cutting off services from these devices is part of its ongoing efforts to maintain the security of its users, and to continue using the discontinued applications, the user will need to upgrade his smartphone to at least “Android 3.0”.
