India records 290 deaths and 29,616 new cases of corona

The Indian Ministry of Health has recorded 290 deaths and 29,616 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

Reuters quoted sources in the ministry as saying that "the total number of cases of corona in the country reached 33 million, 264,419, and the deaths were 446,658."

Yesterday, India recorded 318 deaths and 31,382 cases of coronavirus.

India ranks second in the world after the United States in terms of the number of HIV infections and third after the United States and Brazil in terms of the number of deaths.
