Sonthofen– Last weekend, three events in the 270 “super kart slalom” took place.
MSG driver Luis Zimmermann won the Bayern title.
In the South Bavaria West region, the MSG Sonthofen team initially competed in two individual races in Ulm.
On Sunday the trip went to the Bavarian Championship in Kempten.
And it was there that MSG driver Luis Zimmermann won the Bayern title.
The MSC Al Corsa club in Ulm held a successful double event on Saturday, with 15 MSG Sonthofen drivers competing.
In two races, divided into four age groups, the Sonthof kart drivers could look forward to many good placements.
Class 3 was particularly successful, where MSG drivers Oliver Becker, Jurij Zerr and Florian Kennerknecht shared the podium in both races.
In class 2, Luis Zimmermann, who had previously placed second, fought an exciting race with Markus Kovalik and Philipp Pozelujko for third, fourth and fifth place.
Roman Zimmermann achieved an excellent 2nd place twice in class 1.
Bavarian championship in kart slalom
His brother Luis Zimmermann was on the road to absolute success and the next day in Kempten he showed strong nerves in all four races of the final and let the pylons stand.
In addition, he was able to finish every run with a very fast time, for which he was named Bavarian champion.
