Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met in New York, Riyad Al-Maliki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, who presented the violations carried out by "Israel" against the Palestinian people and the inhumane siege imposed on them.

For his part, Minister Miqdad reiterated that the Palestinian issue will remain the central issue of the Arab people, and Syria's continuation of its fully supportive stance for the Palestinian people in its struggle against occupation, self-determination, the establishment of its independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and granting it full membership in the United Nations.

Minister Miqdad also met with Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and they reviewed the friendly relations and historical ties between the two friendly peoples, stressing the need to upgrade and develop bilateral relations to serve the interests of both countries.

The two ministers agreed to continue communication and coordination between the two sides, whether at the bilateral level or in international forums.

Minister Miqdad also discussed with Dennis Moncada Collinders, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, the attempts that some countries in the region and Latin American countries are facing from external interference in their internal affairs. Countries.

The two ministers expressed their determination to enhance coordination and solidarity between the two countries to defend the just causes of their peoples.

Minister Miqdad and Tunisian Foreign Minister Othman al-Jarandi discussed the situation in the two countries and developments in the region.

In turn, Minister Miqdad expressed his conviction in the ability of the Tunisian people and leadership to overcome all the difficulties the country is going through and to explain the challenges that Syria is facing at this stage.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two ministers stressed the need to continue communication to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.

On the Syrian side, the meetings were attended by Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Bassam Sabbagh, Permanent Representative of Syria to the United Nations, Dr. Abdullah Hallaq, Director of the Special Office Department, and Ihab Hamed from the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
