Bayreuth - In addition to the independent city, the district of Bayreuth and numerous communities in the Forchheim district belong to the constituency.
On 1,648.0 km², around 206,600 residents live in 44 municipalities with a moderate population density of 125.4 inhabitants / m².
Of all residents, 163,934 people were eligible to vote in 2017, 77.6% of whom cast their votes in the federal election.
Bayreuth enjoys international recognition as a city of culture. Sights and scenery attract many tourists.
