The European Union pointed out this Friday to Russia because it supposedly would be trying to interfere in the democratic processes of the political community.
The trading bloc claimed in a statement that it has seen malicious cyber activities by a collective known as Ghostwriter that associates with Russia.
This happens just days before parliamentary elections are held in Germany.
