The first “Calisthenics Hangout Festival” at Billerberg in Inning was an incredible success, the organizers rave.
Over the weekend, more than 150 top athletes and "semi-pros" from Germany and neighboring countries such as Austria, Switzerland and even from Eastern European countries attended the competition and free training.
They also passionately supported the workshops for beginners.
Inning - With more than 200 visitors, especially on Saturday, when the “Pro-Athletes” competed in the “Weighted” and “Freestyle” disciplines, there was an enthusiastic atmosphere and cheers on the Billerberg.
There were award ceremonies in a wide variety of weight classes and disciplines.
To everyone's delight, even the weather played along.
The focal point of the scene are so-called calisthenics parks, on which bars of different heights and positions are based, which are modeled on bars and horizontal bars. The exercises come from classic apparatus gymnastics as well as from acrobatics. The Inninger Festival impressively demonstrated that a large community has already formed around the young sport. With the excitement of the weekend behind them, the organizers are already planning the second so-called hangout, which will take place next summer, probably in June or July at the same location, at the former Billerberg riding school at the inter-communal industrial park in Inning.Sponsored by Billerberg Euroboden GmbH, the Billerberg offers a professional outdoor calisthenics area as well as a creative "Horse Power Fitness" in the former horse boxes with numerous devices for optimal training with your own body weight.

The interim use, which was initially only intended for one year until further commercial use is developed, is now expected to be extended.
