About a month after flying to the United States to meet with President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will embark tonight on a second trip to the country, centered on his speech before the UN General Assembly, which operates in New York.
Bennett is expected to give a speech in the afternoon of Monday (Israel time), before the holiday of Simchat Torah in Israel.
He is expected to address in his remarks first and foremost the very advanced state of the Iranian nuclear program and the fear that it will become a threshold state.
The Prime Minister is also expected to present his positions on the Palestinian issue and address the climate crisis.
The prime minister's entourage stressed that his speech would be different from that of former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and that he would not use technical aids as his predecessor did.
