At about 4 am today (26th), at the bottom of a pedestrian overpass on Tsing Yi West Road near Liao To Road in Tsing Yi, a passer-by spotted a 30-year-old man who was hanging from the exposed steel roots at the bottom of the bridge with a cloth strap. Alarm handling.
Rescuers rushed to the scene and dismissed the 33-year-old man surnamed Lin, but confirmed that he had died in anger.
After preliminary investigation, the police seized the suicide note at the scene. It is believed that the victim committed suicide due to emotional problems and the cause of death has yet to be determined after an autopsy.
