Werner Fleischer remains at the head of the Eichenried citizenship for another two years.

After his unanimous re-election, the 59-year-old then stated in no uncertain terms that this would definitely be his last term of office.

In his review of the work in the local council, Fleischer raved about the cooperation between the local councils across all parliamentary groups. "I have never experienced anything like it. He dealt with various community issues, such as the construction work in the Eichenried thoroughfares (“We'll get a nice road afterwards”) and Moosinning (“Unfortunately, the Rewe won't be a roundabout - we dream of that”), the building area east of the Gälleach (“ The second draft plan is there, next spring the award may be ") and various property purchases.

The vice-mayor reported that the community had bought the “Pelz-Wirt”, which was “a difficult decision-making process” for him, but he was finally convinced.

After the new elections, which election supervisor Anton Schimpf pulled through very quickly - all candidates were unanimously elected by acclamation - Fleischer promised: “I will continue to do my best for the community.

We have done a good job and will continue to do it. ”In two years' time he will go into partial retirement, his health is also bad, and so this will be his last term of office.

The BE could now try to find a successor.
