Hamas this morning (Saturday) attacked the recorded speech delivered by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas yesterday at the UN General Assembly.
After the broadcast of the speech, a spokesman for the terrorist organization, Fawzi Barhoum, said that the speech included "a clear recognition of the helplessness and failure to achieve any achievement through the Oslo process."
Hamas also opposed Abu Mazen's statement in support of a peace conference and a two-state solution.
According to Hamas, the Palestinian Authority's chairman's remarks regarding the cancellation of the PA elections are far from true. Forces local elections in a manner adapted to Fatah. In this context, Hamas recently announced that it is boycotting the elections. Instead, Barhum called for a general election.

Last night, Abu Mazen issued an ultimatum, saying: "The Israeli authorities have one year to withdraw from the occupied territories, and if this is not done, we will go to the International Court of Justice in The Hague to make a decision regarding the legitimacy of the occupation of Palestinian land."
He added that the PA leadership "is ready to sit down to negotiate borders. All my life I have aspired to reach peace, but we do not find in Israel a partner in a two-state solution."
