Numerous job opportunities for the families of the martyrs and the wounded are provided by the first productive project launched by the Samidoun Association despite the wounds in Homs.
The project, according to the director of the association, Bashir Al-Ali, is a sewing workshop that includes 8 machines, and initially provides job opportunities for ten women with families of martyrs and wounded, indicating that work will be done to expand the workshop in the future by bringing in sewing machines to secure more job opportunities.
Al-Ali pointed out that a private company has been contracted to secure 100 pieces of clothing from the operator, and work will be done on contracting with other companies, noting government support, economic activities, and owners of white hands to start this development project.
The head of the association stressed that the project is an important step to secure a source of livelihood for the families of the martyrs and the wounded that helps improve their standard of living, as well as it represents a material resource for the association, while a number of workers in the workshop expressed their happiness with the work, which is an important breakthrough for them that will help them face life's difficulties.
