In the midst of a large sports and public presence, the Syrian sports heroes who participated in the Olympic Games that were held in Tokyo last July were honored during the Individual Sports Festival organized by a support office in cooperation with the General Sports Federation on the grounds of the old fairground in Damascus.
Mrs. Manal Al-Assad, Honorary President of the Equestrian Federation, honored the participants in the Tokyo Olympics, who are Majd Al-Din Ghazal in athletics, Maan Asaad in weightlifting and table tennis player Hend Zaza, in addition to honoring the players of the Syrian team for special sports who participated in the Tokyo Paralympics, namely Muhammad Al-Mohammed in athletics and two physical strength players Nawara Badour. and Fatima Al-Hassan.
The honoring ceremony witnessed sports and artistic performances, and the festival was accompanied by a series of sports performances presented by Syrian athletes in various individual games.
