Today, Iraqi forces arrested 5 terrorists and seized weapons in Karkh and Rusafa, near Baghdad.
Alsumaria News quoted the Iraqi Security Media Cell as saying in a statement, “A force from the Sixth and Seventh Brigades in the Federal Police managed to arrest two suspects after a tight ambush set up for them in the Karkh sector,” pointing out that another force from the 15th Police Brigade arrested two suspects. Two wanted in Rusafa district.
An accused person in a car in possession of an unlicensed weapon was also arrested in one of the "Albu Aytha" checkpoints by a force in the 23rd Brigade in conjunction with the Popular Mobilization Intelligence.
The Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in various Iraqi regions.
