Syria's ambassador to India, Dr. Riyad Abbas, today called on Indian companies to invest in Syria and take advantage of the opportunities available in the reconstruction operations of friendly countries that stood by the Syrian people in their ordeal.
Abbas presented, during a speech at the Indian Center for Technology and Global Trade, during a meeting on global trade relations and how to develop them and work to overcome the obstacles faced by the situation in Syria and the continued aggressions of the American, Turkish and Israeli occupation forces on its lands and their support for terrorists who target the Syrian people and their capabilities.
Abbas called on the Indian companies participating in the meeting to visit Syria and explore investment opportunities in it with the government and the private sector for the benefit of both countries.
