A little over a day after it hit the shelves in the US and a few other selected countries, the iStore network made sure that we too would have a device that we could test for you • So we spent 24 hours with the iPhone 13 Pro Max and that's what we thought

It landed on the shelves on Friday in the US and in some selected countries (not in Israel of course), but the iStore network made sure we could bring you a first and quick peek at the new iPhone 13, or more precisely, the big Pro Max model.

Moshe Ben Simhon

So on the face of it, the new iPhone looks almost identical to the previous model when the first thing you notice when you hold it in your hand is the weight.

There are 12 new grams here that you definitely feel them.

To be precise it is also a bit thicker ... but really a bit.

In terms of structure the device remains the same in its external shape with the power button on the right, the volume buttons and the vibration button on the left along with the SIM drawer and down the charging socket - still lightning.

Important to note: The deficit is about twenty percent smaller.

Do not really feel.

After moving it, you immediately feel another difference - and that's the screen.

It's not bigger and even its resolution is the same - but it works at a frequency of 120 Hz, and you can see that.

The movement of the objects on the screen is smoother, the transition between the pages, the scrolling in the browser ... In fact, you will see the difference in the screens in every way.

Also in the brightness that rises a step here and it gives 1000 knits in the base compared to 800 in the previous model.

The screen is simply superb.

I could not see the efficiency of the new processor in the 24 hours I am with it, but in terms of the battery - there is definitely a noticeable difference and this is a pretty significant improvement.

Working in parallel with the iPhone 12 Pro Max revealed an improvement already in the first use but this is definitely not an in-depth test and we will have to do that in the full review.

The photo array on its face also looks the same, but all the sensors have been improved, except for the selfie's front sensor and the photos do look great in every possible mode.

We did not have enough time to make a proper comparison to the cameras - but my first impression is that the camera is definitely better and the pictures we took have already managed to express the good macro capability and the proper processing in portrait modes.

All in all, the device feels like an iPhone.

Like a new iPhone.

And it's a very good feeling - the truth must be told.

There is no need to say too much about the device and the operating system and those who love both - will love the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Do I recommend purchasing it?

This is another question.

Those who do not like iPhones can move on to the next article, but those who have an iPhone is the only device they are willing to work with, the new model is a device that is definitely worth examining.

Anyone who happens to own an iPhone 12, I definitely think we can wait for next year - where according to Apple's plan a brand new iPhone is waiting for us but anyone who owns an iPhone 11 and back - I highly recommend.

The iPhone will be sold in selected networks from October 14 at a price that starts at NIS 3,000 for the simplest model and up to an amount that reaches NIS 6,000 for the device with the largest volume.
