The press this morning did not say a word about it, kindly. Nowhere. Not even a brief one. However, the pro-sanitary and (unspoken) pro-Macron demonstration, organized on Sunday at Place du Trocadéro in Paris, ended in a resounding flop: a few hundred people, lost in this too large space. In itself, however, this failure is information. The fiasco invites to relativize the supposed approval of the public opinion to the hygienist policy of the government. Nothing was easier to defend her than to come and let people know. The large popular gathering announced by the organizers was also to attract the gratin of showbiz and intellectuals, with tailor-made sound and large screens.
