After a five-year absence from the screen The most famous coach in the country returns with a new program on Network 13, which helps small businesses recover • "A business's chance of surviving after the program is 40-30 percent," says Gal

After a five-year absence from the screen, tonight at 9:30 PM, the 13th most famous personal trainer in the country, Alon Gal, returns to the network with a new program: "You have a business."

In the program he is rescued to help small business owners who are in the midst of a business and personal crisis.

"It's been five years since the last time I was on TV, and I didn't miss it," says Gal, 54.

"TV is not something that burns in my blood. I love the quiet and the loneliness. I am very happy about the break I took, and I am also happy about the rehearsal. There is a very great value in leaving the TV behind and continuing to work."

Then the corona came, and brought you back to TV too.

"The corona, as in many other areas, is more of a symptom of many other diseases. There were businesses that three or four years ago - before the corona - their business did not work. The corona just put it in front of their faces. a decision".

I guess there were more business inquiries following the corona.

"There were more inquiries and there was more response because a lot of businesses had to close down."

To what extent do the changes you make with them during the show last after the filming is over?

"Some business owners will go back to the old patterns, but some take things out of the process. Because there are cameras, and the change is made public, many times business owners feel committed to the process. They take things very seriously, and go with it to the end. But obviously our accompaniment does not matter "The universe. The universe is stronger than me and tithes like me."

What are the chances of success of a business coming to the program?

"I estimate that 40-30 percent take the change we have implemented to the end."

Are there some who come for other reasons?

Suppose, to be published?

"I think they came mostly from people who felt that water came to their souls. Not for being on TV. They came in very painful, and knew they had to make difficult decisions. TV helps create commitment to the process. You take it more seriously."

Do you stay in touch with the participants after the program?

"We accompany the participants for three months, to assimilate what we have changed. This undoubtedly raises the chances."

How do you choose who to cast?

"Professionally, we were looking for people who are in a serious dilemma as a result of the economic situation. People who if they do not do something different - will go bankrupt. On a human level, I am looking for determined people who say 'no, I'm going for it'. We try to find those who will give a real fight." .

Were there times you told people their business had no chance?

"With all due respect, I'm not God and I do not know what will work. But there were those who turned to me and told them that there is no logic in the struggle. But I always mention that it's just my opinion. Although I have experience, I'm also wrong. At the beginning of my journey, twenty years ago, a friend took me to help a small company with three cafes. "And today they are called 'aroma'. There are things that are greater than anything. There are those who will do everything upside down - and work for them."
