The Dachau District Beekeeping Association invites you to the “125 + 1 celebration” on Saturday, October 2nd.
It starts at 1 p.m. in the hall of the Doll Inn in Ried.
After a look at the history of the association, the alternative practitioner and apitherapist Rosemarie Bort gives a lecture on “Apitherapy: Healing with bee products”.

The Association of Bavarian Beekeepers recently held its Association Day in Ried, which was attended by around 100 guests. The event was organized by Walter Niedermeier, Chairman of the Dachau District Beekeeping Association. The beekeepers came from all regions of Bavaria and confirmed the entire board in its office in accordance with the regulations of the general assembly such as the annual report, cash report and discharge. As before, Franz Vollmaier from Trostberg will lead 13 district associations, divided into 76 local associations, over the next three years. Expert advisor Gerhard Müller-Engler reported on the latest research from the Bee Institute in Veitshöchheim, presented instructional videos and provided information on current knowledge about beekeeping. The guest of honor, District Assembly President Josef Mederer,presented the first chairman Vollmaier with the medal of honor of the district in the course of the member honors. The 24 participants in the annual honey competition were awarded gold and silver medals for the honey they sent.
These honors were given to the Bavarian honey queen Katharina II and the Bavarian honey princess Alexandra.
For the district of Dachau there were two golds and one silver.
