The Bundestag candidates spend their election day very differently, as some of them reported to the daily newspaper in advance.
Michael Schrodi (SPD) first
goes to vote himself. Then coffee and cake with the family and in the evening a small celebration in the Olching brewery.
Susanne Droth (Free Voters)
has to work in her economy, the ant parlor.
Katrin Staffler (CSU)
wants to sleep in. "This is the first day in a long time that is not clocked," says the Christian Socialist. For
Ulrich Bode (FDP
) it goes on election night to Munich at a ceremony in the Liberal Hofbräukeller. Bode spends the afternoon with his family.
