Berlin / Munich - The seven-day incidence in Germany has decreased slightly.
The Robert Koch Institute * (RKI) gave the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants on Sunday morning as 61.4.
For comparison: the previous day the value was 60.6, a week ago it was 70.5.

The health authorities in Germany reported 7,774 new coronavirus infections to the RKI within 24 hours.
This is evident from the figures on the RKI dashboard.
A week ago, 7,337 infections were recorded.
The number of Covid-19 deaths has decreased compared to the previous week (38 deaths).
28 deaths were recorded across Germany within one day.
The number of Corona * patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was last reported by the RKI on Friday at 1.58, a decrease of 0.3 compared to the previous week's value.
A nationwide threshold value from when the situation can be viewed critically is not provided for the incidence of hospitalization, among other things because of large regional differences.
The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.

Corona in Germany: Famous techno club in Berlin reopens
Meanwhile, Berlin's nightlife is getting one of its internationally celebrated highlights back.
The Berghain wants to open its doors again.
On its homepage the club, which resides in a former district heating plant, announced its first “club night” with the associated Panorama Bar.
This should take place on Saturday, October 2nd.
On the following Saturdays too, the techno club wants to unlock its entrance, which is regularly besieged by long lines.
If you want to get in, you not only have to pass the guards of the "toughest door in the world", you also have to be vaccinated against Corona or have recovered from Covid-19 (2G).
"We're looking forward to our first club night after almost 19 months," said the page.
"Let the bass kick, see you on the dance floor!"
Drivers can, however, prepare for a new corona regulation for cars.
