Significant property damage occurred on Sunday morning in an accident in Gmund.
A drunk man had collided with a taxi but was unharmed.

- According to the police, the 32-year-old from Hohenbrunn was driving his B-Class Mercedes on Tegernseer Straße towards the valley on Sunday at around 5 a.m.
At number 12, the man turned right off the lane and collided head-on with a Mercedes GL from a taxi company from Bad Tölz parked in the parking bay there.
The 32-year-old was uninjured by the collision.
The taxi was unoccupied.
The accident caused property damage of at least 40,000 euros.
The Gmund volunteer fire brigade had to block one side of the road for over an hour.
Since the person who caused the accident had a provisional breath alcohol level of over 0.5 per mille when checking his driving ability, he is now awaiting a complaint about endangering road traffic.
