Sergei Grasimets, a former Bnei Yehuda player in the 1990s, passed away today (Sunday) at the age of only 55.
Grasimtz, died unexpectedly and the cause of his death is not yet known.
Yesterday, he still managed to coach in the district league in Belarus.
The announcement of his death was published in the Zenit St. Petersburg news agency: "Zenit sends her sincere condolences to the family of Sergei Grasimets, who passed away last Saturday night."
Currently, the cause of death of Grasimtz, who also had a long coaching career, is unknown.
The striker played in the orange uniform between 1993-1996, in which he scored 27 goals in 76 official appearances in all settings and together with Nikolai Kodritsky was a partner in a huge offensive that is well remembered by Bnei Yehuda fans and Israeli football in general.
Sergey Gerasimets is a 55-year-old girl.
