When a country is so fractured, it is a shame not to start by rallying massively through an open primary.
And for those who evoke the designation of Nicolas Sarkozy in 2007 by the UMP, the situation is not comparable: it was essential without discussion whereas today nobody really stands out.
In 2021, we will have fewer voters than the ecologists to nominate the candidate from the right and the center.
The score of this consultation is also tighter than one might think given the very large majority of LR leaders who had expressed themselves for a closed primary.
LR will authorize memberships up to two weeks before the vote.
Isn't this a possibility offered to all those who wish to participate in the selection process?
