The arrested person has been suspended, and the police decided to charge her with 13 counts including "ordinary assault". The case will be brought to court tomorrow (27th).


It is understood that the 47-year-old Indian domestic helper who was victimized was suspected of being tortured for a long time. The case occurred from June to July today.

The police received a report earlier that the victim of the Indian domestic helper was suspected of having a dispute with the female employer due to work problems. During the period, the female employer injured the corner of his mouth with a hand. The Indian domestic helper went to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment on his own and revealed the incident.

After initial investigation, the police arrested a 43-year-old employer named Su in Kwun Tong District on July 6, suspected of causing actual bodily harm in the assault.

The case was handed over to the Regional Crime Squad of the East Kowloon Region for follow-up. The arrested person was a female police officer who has been suspended from duty.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a mobile phone of the victimized Indian domestic helper was also taken away by the female employer earlier, and the mobile phone was later recovered.

The replacement has been charged with 10 counts of "ordinary assault", two counts of "assault causing actual bodily harm" and one count of "theft". The case will appear in Kwun Tong Magistracy tomorrow (27).
