Pope Francis called for a more integrated world and to help migrants and refugees realize their hopes and start a new life.
On the occasion of the International Day of Migrants and Refugees, Pope Francis said in a homily he delivered in St. Peter's Square today, according to the Vatican News website in Arabic, "We are called to build a more integrated world that does not exclude anyone...I unite with all those who celebrate this day around the world."
"It is of paramount importance that we walk together without prejudice and without fear and put ourselves on the side of the most vulnerable: migrants, refugees, displaced persons, victims of trafficking and the abandoned," he added.
