Children aged 12-3 who have recovered from corona during the past six months will not be required to undergo an antigen test to enter educational institutions, the Ministries of Health and Education announced tonight (Sunday) in a joint statement.

The announcement comes against the backdrop of Operation Antigen 2, which requires parents to present a confirmation of a negative examination of their children upon returning to school at the end of the Sukkot holiday.

This coming Thursday, students in the education system are expected to return to the educational institutions, and the day before, about 50,000 students are expected to return to the after-school programs.

This is subject to performing an antigen test and presenting a parental statement of a negative result.
