The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Monday) that 3,208 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.
Yesterday, results were obtained for 76,257 tests.
The data show that there has been a significant decrease in the number of severe patients now standing at 671. However, there has been an increase in respirators numbering 222 people.
Since the beginning of the booster doses to the population in Israel, more than 3.2 million people have received the third dose.
More than 5.6 million received the second dose and more than six million received the first vaccine against Corona.
It was also reported today that the Corona Cabinet will convene next week after a month of not doing so.
The meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 3, at 5:00 p.m.
The last meeting of the Corona Cabinet was held in early September and the opening of the school year and the prayer notes on the Tishrei holidays were discussed.

Last week, the Ministry of Health's expert cabinet convened and concluded that the government's approach to managing the corona plague according to the number of critically ill patients is "dangerous."
The Cabinet of Experts also concluded that the effect of the third vaccine against Corona has been exhausted, as infection rates continue to rise, especially among the unvaccinated who "fill the hospitals."
This is despite curbing the serious morbidity among the vaccinated elderly population.
Experts concluded that opening booster vaccines to young people did provide a significant response in reducing infection, morbidity and mortality, but these could not be used as an exclusive response to fight the virus, and more emphasis needs to be placed on vaccinating those who have not been vaccinated. Green for those who have been half a year since getting vaccinated with the second vaccine dose.
