The Russian Emergency Service announced today that the bodies of the crew members of the Ka-27 helicopter that crashed in the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East on September 23, have been found.
Sputnik news agency quoted a spokesman for the emergency department as saying: "The five bodies of the Ka-27 crew were found."
The helicopter of the 5th aviation detachment was carrying out a training flight when the accident occurred, and its location was discovered the day after the crash, 10 km northwest of the village of Nikolaevka, Ilizhovsky district.
