Munich - On election Sunday, more people in five Upper Bavarian constituencies voted for the Greens than for the SPD.
The party has thus become the strongest force in some places in this federal election - after the CSU.
Greens second strongest force in some Upper Bavarian constituencies
In the constituency of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen-Miesbach, Green candidate Karl Bär won 15.5 percent, while Hannes Graebner (SPD) only got 11.5 percent.
In Erding / Ebersberg, the Green candidate, Christoph Lochmüller, is just ahead of the SPD's result with 14.9 percent.

In the constituency of Munich-Land, Anton Hofreiter gained 20.4 percent and is well ahead of the SPD.
In the Starnberg-Landsberg am Lech constituency, Martina Neubauer of the Greens is clearly ahead of the SPD with 19.9 percent.
And in the Rosenheim district, the Green candidate Victoria Broßart has also overtaken the SPD.
