Throughout Germany, the Union had to give up, and the CSU was hit too.

Nevertheless, the Bruck / Dachau region is still represented by a conservative politician in Berlin.

There were long faces on election evening among AfD and free voters.

Despite some losses, Katrin Staffler from Türkenfeld has clearly defended her direct mandate for the CSU for the constituency of Fürstenfeldbruck / Dachau.

Her greatest challenger Michael Schrodi (SPD) was clearly behind her in the end.

Staffler saw the result as confirmation of their previous work.

It was also possible to set the right priorities.

Now it is important to “keep working”.

However, she is thoughtful about the superficiality of the election campaign.

“That's not the kind of politics I like to do.” Of course, she admitted, many people in Bavaria would have wished for another candidate for chancellor in the federal government, as they did at the time.

However, it is important to defend and support decisions once they have been made.

The SPD man

"I'm glad that I and the SPD were able to grow." That said Michael Schrodi.

Had the mood held up over the past two weeks, even more would have been possible.

But there are significant increases.

"We are in front of the Greens." The SPD had a very good evening.

The green

Beate Walter-Rosenheimer (Greens) is satisfied with her result in the constituency.

“We have grown pretty well.” The Greens would have continued to establish themselves, especially in rural areas.

There are many motivated active people there.

Nationwide, she would have expected 17 percent.

“It's disappointing, I would have liked more.” But there is no need to unpack handkerchiefs.

It is now important that the Greens co-govern and promote climate protection.

"I would like to see the Union in opposition for four years."

Since the Greens received fewer votes than expected, Beate Walter-Rosenheimer's re-entry into the Bundestag is on the brink.

She deliberately moved back on the list to let young people in front.

Now it's getting tight.

"It would be a real shame, even for us Greens in the constituency."

The left

Candidate Ernestine Martin-Köppl (left) was not satisfied with her result, she was even amazed.

Because she got a lot of positive feedback.

"I had the feeling: We are getting more."

The FDP candidate

Ulrich Bode from the FDP spoke of the best election campaign his party had ever made in the region.

The final campaign of the CSU withdrew a lot from the votes of the FDP.

Bode reported an increase in membership.

Overall, he is satisfied with the result.

"The election campaign was a lot of fun."

The free voter

Susanne Droth was still standing in the Ameisenstüberl late on Sunday evening and preparing currywurst, french fries and more.

Live music was playing, with projections in between.

The guests kept the landlady, who had run for the Free Voters, up to date.

She is satisfied with her result.

And the FW almost doubled their result.

"It's a good start, many people have seen that there are free voters." In four years you can make it into the Bundestag.

“But of course there is still a lot of work ahead of us.” Susanne Droth would have thought that the Greens would tear more.

The AfD applicant

Florian Jäger (AfD) is not satisfied with his result.

“I expected to keep my result stable compared to the 2017 election.” But votes were cast in the federal government and Bavaria.

“The big question is why we couldn't benefit from the loss of votes by the CDU / CSU.” Jäger believed that the reputation prevented one or the other middle-class voter from voting for the AfD.

And because of the corona pandemic, no events were possible that would have had a mobilizing effect.

The party friend

The CSU member of the state parliament Benjamin Miskowitsch considered it significant that the CSU in Bavaria had to be happy about 33 percent.

“We can't just look to Berlin now.

We ourselves have also been given homework. ”At least it was possible to prevent the sword of Damocles, red-red-green.

“But we can't be satisfied.” Of course, Miskowitsch is also of the opinion that the election would have gone better with Söder as the top candidate.

“He would have eaten the others for breakfast.” However, one shouldn't forget that Laschet is successfully running a large federal state.

In his case, the focus was more on soft factors.

The district administrator

District Administrator Thomas Karmasin (CSU) commented on the national trend that one could not expect a Strauss result of 60 percent in this election.

Unfortunately, the AfD remains stable, but he is satisfied with the manageable result of the left.

It is now important that there is a halfway bourgeois government in Berlin.

"From a Bavarian point of view, we would of course have wished for a more attractive candidate."
