Former Maccabi Tel Aviv Elijah Bryant was cut from the Milwaukee Bucks squad, just before the start of training, according to a report by Athletic.
Bryant, 26, came to Milwaukee from Maccabi Tel Aviv to thicken his roster ahead of the playoffs, which the team finished as the NBA champion. In 11 playoff games, he averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
Phoenix: Devin Booker contracted Corona
Milwaukee runner-up and Western champion Phoenix Suns will open her training for the 2021/22 season without team star Devin Booker.
The team initially updated that the player had gone into isolation according to the NBA corona protocol, and later in the morning himself confirmed that he had been diagnosed as positive for the virus.
The star said he felt well, although he lost his sense of taste and smell.

Currently the best league in the world does not require players to be vaccinated, however, it adopts local health regulations, meaning players in certain cities - New York and San Francisco, for example - will need to be vaccinated in order to play home games.
Andrew Wiggins and Kyrie Irving are two high-profile players who could be affected by these laws, having expressed opposition to getting vaccinated against Corona.
