Maccabi Haifa and midfielder Dolev Haziza are close to concluding a new four-year contract, Israel Today has learned.
Talks have been going on between the parties in recent weeks, and recently there has been significant progress on the road to signing.
It is important to note that Haziza has a contract with the champions until the end of the season with an option to extend the contract.
According to the apparent agreement between the parties, the relationship will be upgraded in its salary and the agreement will be significantly extended.
Sources close to both sides confirmed the details and the desire of the champion and the player to continue the engagement between them.
"Dolev is very connected to Maccabi Haifa, and the club sees that he has become a significant player in the staff in the last two years," the team said.
If and when Dolev Haziza signs in the coming days, he will join his friend Muhammad Abu Fani, who signed for 3 years and also received an upgrade.
Along with these two, captain Neta Lavie is also in talks, with the club believing that the agreement with him will be extended with the intention of seeing him in Carmel, as long as no significant offer from a team from Europe arrives for him.
