Federal election 2021: Alice Weidel takes on ARD presenter Zamperoni

AfD top candidate Alice Weidel clashes with ARD presenter Ingo Zamperoni after the federal election.

Berlin - The first projections for the federal election in 2021 * are known.

In an interview with moderator Ingo Zamperoni, Weidel complained that the election campaign had "clearly distorted competition".

"The Greens were joked up, they made a three-party election campaign," accused the 42-year-old not only of the public, but also of Zamperoni personally.

The ARD presenter replied with a smile: "You also had your say here, well, we did not leave you out, Ms. Weidel."

Weidel then spoke to Zamperoni about the fact that both the Union and the SPD, the Greens, the FDP and the Left had already made it clear in the run-up to the federal elections that they did not want to form a coalition with the AfD: “You just said, with the AfD does not want to form a coalition. ”The ARD moderator replied:“ Those are not my words, these are the other parties. ”

Weidel had previously confronted the moderator with the fact that the journalists were downright happy that the other parties had made such an announcement.
