District - With a clear result, CSU candidate Alexander Radwan moves into the Bundestag for the third time in a row for the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Miesbach districts.

For the third time in a row, Alexander Radwan moves into the Bundestag as a direct candidate for constituency 223, which includes the districts of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Miesbach.

This is the result published by the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office.

With 41.32 percent or 55,500 votes, the 57-year-old clearly won the election on Sunday, September 26th.

  • Far behind are Karl Bär from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen with 15.51 percent (20,829 votes),

  • SPD candidate Hannes Graebner with 11.48 percent (15,418 votes) and

  • Christian Kaul of the Free Voters with 10.53 percent (14,145 votes).

  • In the single-digit range, FDP candidate Béatrice Vesterling has 8.66 percent (11,634 votes),

  • Susanne Ehlers from dieBasis with 3.83 percent (5,140 votes),

  • Marinus Thurnhuber from the Bavarian Party with 3.72 percent (4,992 votes),

  • Erich Utz from Die Linke with 1.97 percent (2,643 votes),

  • ÖDP candidate Jan-Philipp van Olfen with 1.55 percent (2,077 votes) and

  • Florian Merkl from Die PARTTEI cut off with 1.45 percent (1,949 votes).

Despite the clear success in the constituency, Alexander Radwan also has to record losses in the votes.

Rottach-Egerner was elected to the Bundestag in 2013 with 54.07 percent and in 2017 with 47.59 percent.

Losses for CSU in second votes

The nationwide trend is also evident in the second votes for the party.

Although the CSU was able to clearly prevail with 34.21 percent or 46,305 votes, it also suffered a loss of around 7 percent.

In 2017, the result was 41.56 percent.

In the Bundestag election on Sunday, September 26th, the following parties were behind the CSU:

  • Team Todenhöfer: 0.24 percent (323 votes)

  • Volt: 0.23 percent (307 votes)

  • Independent: 0.13 percent (176 votes)

  • Health research: 0.1 percent (129 votes)

  • V-Party³: 0.09 percent (128 votes)

  • The humanists: 0.07 percent (100 votes)

  • du .: 0.06 percent (78 votes)

  • NPD: 0.05 percent (67 votes)

  • Alliance C: 0.04 percent (49 votes)

In total, the 223 constituency has exactly 166,662 eligible voters, informs the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office, which was in charge of the federal election in 2021.

Of these, 136,117 cast their votes, of which 774 or 0.57 percent were invalid.

The turnout of 81.67 percent is roughly the same as the previous election.

In 2017 it was 80.11 percent.
