They will receive a letter from the director general of the national police in the coming days and some will be referred to a disciplinary council.
According to our information, the fault referred to is the non-transmission of elements to the General Inspectorate of Administration (IGA).
This procedure follows a pre-disciplinary investigation by the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN).
A series of dysfunctions
As a reminder, Chahinez Daoud (31 years old) was burnt alive by her husband on May 4 in Mérignac (Gironde) in the middle of the street.
She went to the police station in March to file a complaint against her husband for violence.
The latter had already been sentenced to prison for domestic violence.
Last June, a damning report pointed to serial dysfunctions and negligence in the police and judicial chain on the part of various actors involved in the follow-up of this file.
A striking example: the young woman had not even been warned of the release of her attacker, a repeat offender in domestic violence.
